Ryan Hurd

Ryan Hurd is proud to be an active trial attorney practicing in Pennsylvania and New Jersey since 2007. He has an intimate understanding of how an accident or malpractice, like a failure to diagnose, can affect you and your family. Most importantly, he understands what is necessary to obtain the results his clients need.
Ryan has successfully represented hundreds of injured victims in a variety of personal injury matters, including: motor vehicle accidents (car, tractor-trailer, bus, motorcycle, pedestrian and bicycle), medical malpractice, products liability (for defective and dangerous products), FELA, premises liability (slip / trip and fall accidents), and workers’ compensation claims. He has litigated numerous claims at the municipal, arbitration and trial court levels in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Ryan serves as a certified Arbitrator for the Court of Common Pleas Philadelphia Compulsory Arbitration program.
Ryan was recognized by The National Trial Lawyers as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer in Pennsylvania.
He has been repeatedly named a Rising Star in the Personal Injury practice area by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® between 2013 and 2020. The Rising Star category consists of a selection of top lawyers who are under the age of 40 or who have been in practice for 10 years or less, as nominated and selected by their peers, in each practice area.

As a 2007 graduate of Villanova University School of Law, Ryan was selected to serve as an executive member of the Villanova University School of Law Moot Court board. He additionally served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Rayford A. Means of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Trial Division.
Ryan has been a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, State of New Jersey, U.S. District Court in New Jersey and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania.
Ryan is a South Jersey native, currently living in Burlington County with his family.
